Visiting a church for the first time can be a little intimidating. People tend to worry about what to wear and what to say . . .and then there's the whole ohmagosh-what-if-they-make-me-stand-up-and-introduce-myself fear.
Here's the deal: You can totally relax here. We want to meet you wherever you are--spiritually, emotionally, relationally, and about any other "ly" you can think of. We don't pressure or judge; we invite and encourage. For real.
About Our People
We call 'em our "church family." We're not high-brow, pinched-face, hoity-toity types. We're just regular joes and jills like you who mess up sometimes--sometimes big--regardless of our best intentions. We don't have all the answers . . . and we're way open to questions. Our hope is that you'll find authenticiy; a place to be yourself.
About Our Messages
We don't call 'em sermons because that feels too much like a lecture . . . and we figure you get enough of those from your boss, your spouse, your financial guy, and your dentist. Messages are different: They're something you can take in and chew on without feeling defensive or ashamed. They have meaning and relevance and actually make sense to your life. We feel God has something to say that will inspire you each week.
About Our Services
Typically, our worship services last around an hour, and they're wrapped up in a package that'll catch and hang on to our culture-induced 3.2 second attention span.Services begin at 6:30pm on Wednesdays and include traditional hymns, sometimes a guitar and drum box show up, videos and power point presentations.
About Our Kids
We love kids! Parents don't even have to bribe them to come. They like it. Imagine. There is Church School available for K-6 at 5:30pm which helps them grow in their faith in a fun and inviting way. Kids Night is a time where Kids grades K-6 get together on the 1st Monday of the month from 5-7pm for dinner, active and engaging bible lessons, music, and of course some fun.
